This is a fun game. It started as a contest in the Washington Post, and here's all you have to do:

Take a word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, deleting, or changing one or two letters, then supply a new definition. Finally, add your own word for the next poster!

Ok, so then now I would take the word carpet, alter it to another word, and then give the definition of the new word, then the next person would alter the word I gave??? I'll try...

carpet to carport

carport = Shed which shelters an automobile from rain and sunlight.

yes that's the idea, but you don't want to change it into a word that really exists........ so carpet could be changed for instance in carpot, which would be a flowerpot that is designed to put on the hood of your car, so if you drive you always have a nice view. For obvious reasons it's not a success, but the designer can't understand why.............

You can make up as much definitions as you want........ and invent whole stories around it (wait till you see what I do with a word.....)

Ok....... if you understand now, you can give the next word and I'll show you what I mean......

My take on carpet is corpet ..a VERY small corporation . This corpet was started in a county so small it did not have a county seat , just a folding chair....
Next word .... psychedelic

psychedeli: a deli where there is no menu because the waiters and waitresses are all psychics and already know what you want when you enter the door.

Grunge..Gringe a cult of small peoples who inhabit the grange of Texas . These small persons appear very happy so have earned the nickname of GRIN..ge. If you meet one do not let the permanent smile fool you . They are devious little creatures ...

NEXT word ..angelic

1. Good deeds or acts of benevolens performed by a member of a gang that is usually devoted to practices that are just the opposite.
2. A state in which a large group of angels perform angelic deeds
3. A person who has gangreen is said to be gangelic.
