Tmi I'm asking if I'm making my post to much. I will not be offended.
I would like be able to adjust to what is tthe best for the forum. I talked to the Parson about this.
Aretta, my friend,

No, I don't think you're posting too often, but, just that like me, you may be a little bit too long-winded. It is so hard for me NOT to be wordy! It's something I'm working on. I do love the way you use scriptural quotes. Don't stop that, although you may want to use references rather than the whole quote occasionally, if they are long. Don't forget to tell us what that Scripture means to you personally. I did like the guidelines that Tim gave us in one of his replies to one of your posts. I'll try to use that guidline. I can see where that may make our posts more organized and easier to follow. Although I did not want Tim to be too hard on you, he has a bit of a good point for us all. Much love to you, my dear friend.

One other option that may make posts easier to follow. If you wish to include scripture passages (especially if they are long) highlight them and then click on the icon that looks like a cartoon dialoge baloon (located at the top of where you type). That will put the highlighted section in a quote box

Quote:
(like this)

That will make it easier to follow. Those who wish to read the scripture can. Those who don't can easily breeze over to it and still not miss what you have to say about the scripture.

A long post is not always a bad thing. They can be useful when you know you have readers who are willing to put in the effort, but too often leading off with a long post can discourage readers.

too much info can also hem us in so we cannot respond. I think that tim really wants to see more discussion.

In that we are in a bit of a catch-22. We will not grow as long as we are not having the kind of discussions people are drawn to, and we can't have those discussion until we grow.
Gracie you do know my frame, and windy is it. I just love the Word so much, when I get started it's hard to stop, and if Tim gets to hard on me, I will runded away. ask him and see. I'm going to try to follow
the plan. I can't do to well with A form type of any thing.

CW, Thank you, that is what I have been looking for. I'm looking for any thing help me learn.
I do understand, Aretta, and I am the same way! Your Timmy loves you,Sis! Don't go running away! I love you, too! Deeply! And we need your input.
