In Florida, an atheist finally became fed up, with all the Christian holidays. He hired an attorney, who quickly got help from the ACLU, to petition the courts to do away with Christmas, Easter and the like.

On his day in court, while attempting to persuade the judge, the man ranted that Christians have the calendar filled with worthless holidays but nary a holiday is set asside for atheism.

The, wise, jurist finally dismissed the claim, saying, "You, sir, do have a holiday. Atheism is celebrated on April 1st, every year."

(Needless to say, the entire courtroom erupted in applause).

Wonderfully funny, but also pittifully sad! "The fool hath said in his heart there is no God." (Psalm 14:1) It must be a horrible existence not knowing one's Creator or even believing there is one!

Yes, Gracey, it is terribly sad!!! Just to know that we (as in every one of His people) has experienced, in one way or another, His blessing and can, often, label it as such.
Then, when we meet someone, whose heart is hard and they say things like, "Miracles happen, every day of the week," we can only wish the day would come, when this man or woman would have to cry out for the Miracle Worker to help them.
That, alone, will change them. Unfortunately, those instances don't come often enough.
