Seems easy enough, but the trial version leaves out all the stuff I want to tinker with to see if it would work for me. Compare this to TurboCad, if you have experience with both. I'd appreciate feedback. Thanks!
CadStd to me is the better of the two because it takes many of the better functions of other CAD's and integrates them.
Any experienced CadStd users? I have questions that are not answered in the helps online or on the program. Thanks!
Fire away. What's the question???
Like the previous member, I also wonder if there is any CadStd instruction manual or tutorial better than the one provided with the program. I purchased a copy of CadStd Pro and read through its tutorials and owner's manual, but still do not know how to accomplish a simple task such as copy and paste a 3044 window drawing in the file HRDWFP.DXF to my own drawing. I don't want to insert the entire file because it has more symbols than I need. Also, I cannot find out from its owner's manual how the layers work nor how to use layers effectively.

the cadstd pro seems to be the program i will be going with, due to it's affordability...
question, will this program be suffice for the md101 mech drwg course?
