I recently registered for both architectural courses. I registered a few years ago but was unable to complete them. I studied arch and mechanical drafting in HS (had three years of both) and did work as a drafter/home planner, and I'd like to do more arch work as a hobby and maybe for some moonlighting. I prefer the board, but I am well schooled in AutoCad. The trick is now finding a program I can afford that's usable. I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks!
try Maya by autodesk. it's a free download. however the only thing about it is the watermark, which Maya puts on there for the free trial so you cannot use it commercially, only personally. but it's still the same.

So this is CADD? Looked like it was just for graphics.
BTW, how long do I have access to the courses? I plan on completing them slowly. I have a very busy outside schedule as I work FT, am completing an MBA, and have a family

I usually clear a student after a year but if you need more time let me know.

By the way tomicavols, I've updated your access to the board so that you can see the rest of this section.
I will undoubtedly need more than that. So I'll let you know this time next year.

You may or may not remember me. I was pastoring a church FT when I started the class last time. Now, I'm bivo (presently working FT secular and doing supply/interim work). I'm looking forward to getting started, though as I said it's going to be slow since I have a full slate of MBA classes as well. Eventually, I'm going to start back on my Doctorate in ministry/theology as well, but one step at a time :) So getting back to drafting is a way of keeping me sane :)

I believe I do remember you brother. You take as much time as you need. If you notice a password change or anything, remind me of this conversation and I'll update you. I'm praying God's blessings on your education.

Man, I'd rather have eye teeth removed than to do interim. That takes a special man of God. Me, I'd get attached and not want to leave once they voted on a pastor.

You do get attached. In a sense, we're all interims. Just some of us have it in the title :)

I'd rather be serving FT or bivo than doing supply/interims. In God's time, I will be.

I appreciate your patience on the time factor and I'm glad to be back.
