My experience with message boards and chatrooms is not all encompassing but I have been to enough of them to note that almost all have one thing in common - a circle of friends, small in number, who generate most of the traffic on the board. Even on boards with many many members, most are in the background and the few in the circle dominate. There is nothing wrong with a circle of friends as friends but I have noticed these circles have a tendency to isolate themselves from others on the board. I guess what concerns me most about this is that when someone else comes to the board with a legitimate problem and asks for help, too many times they are ignored. I have seen this happen on every board I have watched. This is where the board ceases to be a Christian board, serving God, and becomes a tool of the enemy where indifference and " self " dominate.
