All should agree that the Word of God is His law.Prophets foretold of the Christ and Jesus is the fulfillment of those prophesies. The Gospel According to John states that Jesus is the Word of God, Jesus is God. It is by His Word that we know Him and it is by His Word that we know His will. It is by His Word that we know the just and the unjust, the evil and the good. Jesus is God, Jesus is the Word. Jesus is the Law. Man was married to the Law and bound by it, in the same way a woman is married to her husband and bound by his rule as long as he lives. But, when Jesus died, the bonds of marriage were broken because the husband was dead. The old husband is dead and men are free to marry another, and that is the resurrected Jesus. Men, who comprise the Church, the bride of Jesus, are no longer bound by the rule of the old husband because he is dead and they are free of the law which bound them.
