Do you say you love Him and yet, at the same time, you cling to the Law and try to live by it? The Law was like a stone to which we were bound and cast into the sea of life, struggling to do that which we could not. Jesus has loosed those bonds and all that remains is for us to let go of the stone. Yes, serve Him because you love Him, and because you have faith in His Words and His promise and His Grace. The schoolmaster has taught and graduation day awaits. Evil will seek you out and tempt you and as any young child will, you too will sometimes disobey. But welcome the rod of the Lord for it will guide you and strengthen you and lead you from childhood to maturity. As Paul wrote : " When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."
