PCIM

Well. The Parson pulled a duh tonight. While trying to integrate the GCN Chat into the framework of PCIM I blew out an entire section to our database. Please forgive me everybody. This is new software and I did it in the way I normally would have worked with our previous software. I didn't realize that this software had so many failsafes in it that to force a function to happen would blow out the DataBase.

I really really feel bad about this but thanks be to God I backed up the Board day before yesterday. Now I think it prudent I back up everyday until the work on GCN is done.

Sure could use some prayers here... All posts made since the evening of the 9th of January were lost. All I can tell you folks is Sorry...

Thanks MG, I won't beat myself up but most assuradly I will not play with the code that deals with our db tables. I shoulda known better than that. I didn't realize how tedious this operation was gonna be and am rethinking the stragedy. Some people use a paint brush, some a roller, some a sprayer, and some use all three. I just need to see what tool or tools are right to finish painting this barn.

Seriously, though, half the time, I cannot get into the site, the way it is. It'll tell me my password doesn't work (like it did at 7:00) and then, without even typing a password, I got in, this time.
I hope the new site willl, somehow, by some miracle, be GARY FRIENDLY!!!

Hmmmmm, let me think about that... A Gary Friendly site. What would that consist of?

Hey, now I'm gonna back-up the back-ups...

This place would be friendlier (to the brain bludgeoned) if it were easier to access.
